Trading Prohibition & Integrity Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy
To ensure a fair, transparent, and trustworthy prediction market environment, Betpaddi prohibits individuals and institutions from participating in markets where they hold material non-public information or have any ability to influence the outcome. This policy protects the integrity of the platform and the interests of all its users.
2. General Rule of Prohibition
You may not participate in any market on Betpaddi if:
- You are directly employed by, affiliated with, or contracted by a source of influence over the outcome of that market.
- You possess material non-public information about the event underlying the market.
- You can directly or indirectly influence, determine, or significantly affect the outcome of a market.
This prohibition applies regardless of whether you intend to exploit your position. The mere existence of a conflict of interest or informational advantage is sufficient grounds for exclusion.
3. Categories of Prohibited Participants
The following categories of individuals and entities are prohibited from participating in the specified market types:
A Sports Markets
The following individuals cannot participate in markets regarding match outcomes, player performance, transfers, injuries, or club decisions:

| Sports journalists with embargoed access | Those with pre-release access to line-ups, injury reports, or transfer deals |
| Data providers & analysts | Vendors and analysts with privileged real-time access to official match data |
4. Conflict of Interest & Third-Party Contractors
Any third-party vendors, contractors, freelancers, or consultants with privileged access to market-relevant data, content, decisions, or outcomes are strictly prohibited from participating in the related markets on Betpaddi.
This includes but is not limited to: data feed providers, API partners, platform auditors, and any individual engaged in a commercial relationship with Betpaddi who may have access to non-public market information.
5. Penalties & Enforcement
Violations of this policy will result in:
- Immediate account suspension or permanent ban from the Platform.
- Forfeiture of all market winnings and blocked access to funds pending investigation.
- Public flagging of accounts for transparency, where applicable and legally permissible.
- Referral to relevant Nigerian law enforcement or regulatory agencies (including the EFCC, NDPC, or CBN) in cases of fraud, collusion, or data misuse.
- Civil or legal action where losses to other users or the platform can be established.
Betpaddi reserves the right to conduct investigations, request supporting documentation, and take all necessary steps to protect the integrity of the platform and its community.
6. Updates to This Policy
This policy is reviewed periodically to stay current with emerging risk profiles, evolving regulatory guidance, and market trends in Nigeria and across Africa. Users will be notified of any material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.
Continued use of the Platform after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
